Daniel's New GF

Daniel's been dating this cutie for a while--and they FINALLY sent me some adorable pictures that I just HAD to post on here. P.S. Her last name is Edwards and she's from CA. Hopefully we're not cousins ;0)

Both of them are really into photography--photo shoot anyone?
This is the first girl Daniel has ever been giddy about. The kinda giddy that when I say her name his eyes glaze over and he smiles and I notice that his mind is up in the clouds probably remembering a goodnight kiss or the first time he held her hand. Cute? Definitely. I've only gotten to meet her once for a few hours but she won over my heart when a Taylor Swift song came on in the car and immediately all four of us (Jimmy and Daniel included) started belting it. She earned some gold stars later when she proved she was crafty and creative, loved volleyball, snowboarding and photography, and of course the fact that she made my brother completely melt.
As the eldest child, the favorite daughter, only sister, the queen, the bully, the princess, and one of Daniel's best friends, of course my opinion matters when it comes to the girls he dates. So to Daniel I say: well done! She fits right in!
Feel free to post all dating advice in the comments section. I'm sure he'd love to be bombarded with it.

Baby Hungry

I texted the following picture to Jimmy with the text, "What I want for Christmas."...
...He wrote back, "What? A new couch?"

C'mon--don't you think we look like cute parents?
Thanks Emily for letting us play with your cute baby Jaxon!

Happy New Year

Happy 2010!
In 2009:
- We Cancelled Cable
- Jimmy learned to Snowboard
- We caught a ball from Yankee player Melky Cabrera (Dominican)
- Learned to play tennis

- Became addicted to Biggest Loser, 24, Bachelor (just Katie), The Office, and Lost (kinda difficult after cancelling cable)
- We cooked real, balanced meals 5 nights a week.
In 2010 we want to:
- Get into dental school
- Go to So. Cal, Yosemite, Dominican Republic, a broadway play in NY, Nor. Cal Redwoods, & the beach
- pick up a new hobby
New Year's Kiss in Reno (check out the new skinny jeans! My first pair. Jimmy got them for me for Christmas and I LOVE them!)
Loved this tree by the skating rink!
Jimmy and I snowboarding. I love Homewood because you get a view of the Lake on every run!
New Year's was a blast! Reno was hoppin'. We played games at Circus Circus (I didn't win a single stuffed animal--luckily I had Jimmy), went to the buffet, watched a few shows, and everything else you'd do in a casino ;0)
One of my favorite things to do when it's not cold out!
I love this new picture editing program that is FREE at www.picnik.com because I don't think I could figure out Photoshop. This at least allows me to change my photos up a bit. I played around with each one of these. Check it out.

New Year's Resolutions

One of my New Year's Resolutions is to read a GOOD book every week this year. BUT, I need some suggestions. PLEASE HELP. I'm talking your best and most favorite books you've ever read! Here are some examples of what I like:

- Church historical fiction (Work & the Glory, Children of the Promise, Rebekah)
- Love triangles/conflicts (Twilight, Dear John, The Notebook, etc.)
- Suspense novels (but nothing too gory) -- (James Patterson Books, Mary Higgings Clark)
- Historical Fiction (Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns)
- Anything that you found to be good.

Thanks for the tips. Hopefully I can find 52 GOOD BOOKS to read this year!
