Wow has it really been two weeks since I last posted? Goodness! Well here are the top 10 things we've been up to:
10. Jimmy had 3 huge tests last week and got an A on each one of them! Sigh of relief! Including Organic Chemistry! yuck.
9. We found another couple in the ward that has major dominican domino skills and stayed up till 2am Friday and Saturday last weekend playing with them!
8. Katie is going to Utah this weekend for her dominican companion Jade's wedding who's coincidentally getting married to a guy from Simi Valley, CA! What are the odds?
7. We babysat our friend's kitten for a weekend and realized that we aren't going to have kids for a few years...
6. Katie dyed her hair dark brown and looks like a hottie with her bright blue eyes.
5. Jimmy's brother who is a CPA filed our taxes for us and looks like he worked it pretty good ;0). Now we're planning a fun vacation for this year. We're thinking a cruise--any thoughts?
4. After getting cable we've become addicted to Law & Order, Friday Night Lights, Lost, The Office, 24, oh--and gangland.
3. We hooked up our new 47" TV (thanks John and Karen) with surround sound. (ooooohhhh, aweeeeeeeeeee)
2. Jimmy has been booked almost every night of the week doing stuff for the dental club, Beta Alpha Psi (accounting club/frat), the missionaries, late night classes, etc. I love my time with him.
1. We've been married 10 months on Thursday! Hooray for love!
The Love Timeline
August 7, 2004: Jimmy and Katie meet at a wedding in Idaho. They remained friends via email and phone for a few months and Jimmy would take Katie out on dates when he'd come visit in Utah.
Favorite date October 2004: He says the walk to the waterfall where I held Katie's hand for the first time.
She says the movie 50 First Dates when we cuddled for the first time.
March 2005: Katie leaves for her mission to the Dominican Republic, Santo Domingo West mission. She writes to Jimmy.
August 2005: Jimmy leaves for his mission to the Dominican Republic, Santiago mission. The first person he thinks of when he opens his call? Katie!
October 2005: Katie can take a 15 minute bus ride to visit Jimmy in the Dominican MTC but remains obedient and does not see Jimmy for 2 years (so hard being so close on such a tiny island)!
They write every week of their missions and saved all the letters to prove it.
November 2006: Katie is home from her mission and waits 9 months for Jimmy to come home.
August 22, 2007: Katie and Jimmy's first kiss after 3 years of hoping and waiting!
December 11,2007: Engaged
April 26, 2009: Married forever, CA reception, CT reception, and partied with their people in the DR.
Present: Happily Ever After

haha, i would take kids over kittens anyday =) and a cruise would be my reccomendation...we absolutely LOVED it. they're so cheap right now too, we were going to go but travis can't get off that much work so we've settled for indoor waterpark/hotel...we go thursday, should be fun! where's a pic of your brown hair!?
You guys sound like you are really busy! I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I hope she is doing better. I was shocked when I found out. I hope you guys are doing well too. I miss you!
